Wade Crawford brings more than 25 years of insurance knowledge and experience to Empower and is established in the Houston marketplace as a leader in employee benefits planning. He provides sound counsel and cost-effective benefit plans for clients in all areas of group medical, stop-loss, short/long-term disability, life/AD&D, and voluntary products.

While a regional sales director for GE/Genworth Financial, he designed and implemented employee benefit plans for well over 150 self-funded clients. Wade also successfully facilitated partnerships with TPAs and managed care networks to significantly grow GE/Genworth Financial’s self-funded business. Wade is highly skilled at analyzing network savings to ensure clients the best financial outcome.

In addition to new business development and employee benefit planning, Wade serves as a self-funded consultant to other insurance brokers evaluating their clients for compatibility with self-funded benefit options.

A native Houstonian, Wade earned a bachelor’s of business administration in risk management and insurance from the University of Texas at Austin. He has been married for over 20 years and has three children.
